Artisan Parkview

706 E. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ, 85034

Artisan Parkview is a wonderful community of 14 soft lofts and row-home style townhomes and condominiums located in the heart of downtown Phoenix.

It is easy walking distance from Chase Field and US Airways Arena and literally across the street from the Science Museum and the east bound light rail passes right outside the front doors (the stop is about a block away).

Artisan Parkview was Eric Brown's first foray into downtown Phoenix development and one can see many of the design elements from Parkview used in the later construction of Artisan Village just down the road.

The community does not have a pool nor is it gated. Every home has a tandem 2 car garage plus an extra uncovered parking space (also tandem style), most of the properties feature the "soft loft" look of exposed ductwork but are otherwise pretty traditional inside, but the exteriors definitely have a row house style with front entries right off of Washington Street.

Overall, Artisan Parkview offers good architecture, a very up & coming location, and affordable prices. It's well worth checking out.

I love my condo, the light rail, access to museums and restaurants..I could easliy navigate without a car with the lightrail..farmers market and Costco have lightrail stops..the airport, ASU..all on the lightrail. The City convention center is having a Green Bldg Expo and the Phx Museum, a culinary festival this weekend. Last weekend was First Friday..I took a ride to the museum ( free with dancers and a band ) and walked to eat at Chevront's..there were many people on the streets. The nearby Children's museum has a large crowd every weekend..and the Science museum is across the street, the Chase field is within eyeshot. On quiet Sundays I hear churchbells from St. Mary's and I can see two churches from my front patio. Catholic processions march down in front on Holy days..replete with music.I love Central City.
