Artisan Parkview
706 E. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ, 85034
Artisan Parkview is a wonderful community of 14 soft lofts and row-home style townhomes and condominiums located in the heart of downtown Phoenix.
It is easy walking distance from Chase Field and US Airways Arena and literally across the street from the Science Museum and the east bound light rail passes right outside the front doors (the stop is about a block away).
Artisan Parkview was Eric Brown's first foray into downtown Phoenix development and one can see many of the design elements from Parkview used in the later construction of Artisan Village just down the road.
The community does not have a pool nor is it gated. Every home has a tandem 2 car garage plus an extra uncovered parking space (also tandem style), most of the properties feature the "soft loft" look of exposed ductwork but are otherwise pretty traditional inside, but the exteriors definitely have a row house style with front entries right off of Washington Street.
Overall, Artisan Parkview offers good architecture, a very up & coming location, and affordable prices. It's well worth checking out.
