Brownstones at Biltmore

2608 E. Turney Avenue, Phoenix, AZ, 85016

Brownstones at Biltmore is a commercial real estate agent's first foray into development and although there were some real slow downs in the construction all appears to be coming along nicely now. These brownstone style townhomes were originally named Turney Brownstones, were designed by local architect Bob Gutierrez of 61st Place Architects and are being built by a Canadian Company with a local presence called Canusa Homes.

Brownstones at Biltmore is an eleven townhome community, with two car garages, three story floorplans (one story below grade like traditional brownstones) with up to 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and a private studio apartment with bath above the garage, with 3000 square.

The exterior design, although not "urban" is unique with smooth finish stucco, mini-front balconies with ornate iron railing, and Greek or Roman style front entries with masonry veneer accents and four foot glass and wrought iron Cantera front doors.

I am interested in knowing whether these brownstones are for rent. When I drove by, I noticed some wiring coming out of the ground -- like the project had been abandoned.

Thank you
Sally
