Crystal Point
1040 E. Osborn Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85014
If you want views then Crystal Point is THE place to be. It stands directly above the Phoenix Country Club Golf Course and has tremendous views of the Downtown and Midtown Phoenix skylines AND views of the surrounding mountains. It truly is tough to beat.
Crystal Point was built in 1990 by McCarthy Construction on behalf of Lincor, the developer. The architect was Dwayne Lewis of Architects Inc.
Crystal Point offers nine different floor plans on nineteen floors ranging from 1981 to over 3600 square feet. All the standard floor plans were either two bedroom or two bedroom with a den. Some past and current home owners have reconfigured some of the larger floor plans to offer a third bedroom but that is very rare. All condominiums from the second to the fourteenth floor offer 9 foot ceilings while the fifteenth floor and above offer almost ten foot ceilings. The living area of the two penthouse condos have ceiling height approaching twenty feet or so.
Crystal Point is a full service building meaning it has a doorman twenty-four hours a day, every day, a quasi-concierge (meaning he helps with some personal issues but does not book or schedule tickets, events etc...) Monday throug Friday, a fantastic heated swimming pool in a resort like setting, three spas, a sauna, a steam room, fitness center, and two guest suites. The guest suites are available to owners of condominiums at Crystal Point for up to three nights per month for guests. The fee is CHEAP at only $30 per night. The rooms are super clean, have king size beds, basic cable television, local phone service, towels, shampoo, soap, and a clock radio; almost everything you would find in a hotel except daily maid service (what do you expect for thirty bucks?). Anyway, the staff makes it super easy to live at Crystal Point...I should know, I live there!!!
Every home has at least two parking spaces, excellent private and secure storage, a natural gas hook up on the balcony for barbecue grills, plus a water hook up for a hose, a drain, electrical outlet etc.
