On May 27, 2008, W Hotel opened it's $100 Million, 224 A-Cabin Hotel Rooms and 18 Penthouse Condominiums in a Seven Story Glass and Steel Building at the top of the Scottsdale Entertainment District.

This is Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. first W Hotel in Arizona. This HIGH end hotel features a zero edge pool on the second floor, a 4,000 square Bliss Spa, and a 6,000 square foot high end sushi restaurant called Sushi Roku out of Hollywood.

The W Residences offers its condo owners a combination of stylish one- and two-bedroom condominiums with the benefits of being attached to a W Hotel, including all the amenities enjoyed by hotel guests.

Triyar is also proposing another Downtown Scottsdale High Rise building, Hanover, and is involved with the development of Tempe's University Square Project.

Looking for Condo - Oh, I think the owner realizes that $800/foot is too high. And yes we previewed about half of the condos late 2010 or so. We had assumed back then that the owner would have to rent them but as of today none of them are for rent.

Fair Price?

Do you believe any of the condos will say at this price, over $800 a square foot? How long until they realize it might be too high? Have you previewed them? Can you rent them?

Rick - the condos at W Hotel are available again for purchase (or will be very very shortly). Purchase prices are going to start at $800 per square foot and HOA fees will be approximately 78 cents per square foot. We don't have a list of amenities included in the HOA but we believe they will include access to all hotel services (for additional fees) and certain privileges at other W Hotels around the world. There are 18 condos all of which are currently under final construction. We can show you the property now by appointment. Once the condos are entirely complete there will be a "grand opening" event of some sort. Stay tuned. W
