Need some direction. Daughter and cat moving to Tempe ASU, grad student; her boyfriend and another cat may or may not follow. We want safe, clean, not too crazy loud area. What are your rentals? We are in Ohio -- any suggestions on best way to approach this find? Reviews of many apartments (all in the $800-$1000 range) are discouraging. Plan to fly in mid-May to search and then move in early July. Plese advise. Thank you. Your lofts look lovely and wonder about pricing.

Last week I finally saw the interiors of the condos at Merrion Square. Up to now I had never made much of an effort because it was always in and out of financial trouble (e.g. foreclosure) so I didn't bother. I did stop by one time months ago only to find that the keys didn't work AND about 12" of sheet rock running along the entire interior perimeter of the exterior walls of the residential condos was gone. I presumed it was from water damage and again shied away.

But that has all changed. When I toured the building last week I found very cool loft style condos with polished concrete floors, open floor plans, good views of Tempe (even though Merrion Square is only a two story building), upgraded contemporary lighting, mixed plaster and brick interior walls, VERY nice master bathrooms, and a top notch location. Can you tell I like this place? Negatives? Carports instead of garages, the living area of the 2 bedroom is on the small side, no amenities, and the sales prices are still a bit out of line I think. BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO RENT IN TEMPE YOU GOTTA CHECK THESE OUT...GIVE US A CALL.
