Skye 15

520 S. Roosevelt Street, Tempe, AZ, 85281

Built in 2007 and located in Downtown Tempe, Skye 15 Lofts (formerly known as Tempe Urban Living (aka TUL)) consists of 15, vertical, urban living, loft style townhomes, with a very modern twist. Skye 15 was developed by the same team that did Palm Lane Urban Living in midtown Phoenix, a very cool infill project.

The styling at Skye 15 is fresher than a lot of the urban infill loft projects out there and the location is great, just a half mile (easy walk) to Mill Avenue and a mile from Tempe Town Lake, Tempe Center for the Arts and ASU.

Innovative architecture by Ilan Baldinger showcases intelligent floorplans ranging from 1106 to 2760 square feet of light-filled interiors, generous roof-decks, and a sophisticated mix of materials: Euro kitchens, Bosch Appliances, Danze Chrome fixtures, Granite counters, superb detailing. Closets are large, there is adequate parking and the community is gated. There is one thing that we are concerned about and that is the condition of the exterior siding/panels. These panels are made of concrete and should be durable but the paint on the panels is heavily faded already and if you look closely you'll see several cracks.

We do like that prices have come waaaaay down. Skye 15 was purchased in mid-2010 by some guys out of Colorado who got a pretty good deal and as a result they have been able to reduce prices significantly. Since then several of the condos have sold and the community appears to be recovering from it's bust.

Rent?
I am interested in these. I was wondering if there are any open for rent and if so for how much? Are there 3 bedroom floorplans? I would be interested in July or August 2012 for a year lease

The Skye 15 seems just the place for anyone who likes loft style homes. From the details given here it sure sounds affordable and what impressed me most was the honesty in giving the accurate details especially about the closets!! I‘ve seen the homes in midtown Phoenix so in that way the construction part seems fine! I would like to see the floor plans and other details and then come and inspect the place in person.

Are all four units that are left at Sky 15 for sale or rent? Could I also get a price sheet and floor plans?
