Tempe, Ariz – The city of Tempe will make it easy for people to get to the Insight Fiesta Bowl Block Party Dec. 31 with convenient parking locations and FREE bus and park-and-ride services.
TRANSIT
People are encouraged to ride the bus for FREE to the festivities. Before 3 p.m., the bus routes listed below will run according to regular schedules. From 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., the northbound trips on these routes will run every 15 minutes to downtown Tempe.
• 56 – Priest (north from Elliot Road)
• 62 – Hardy (north from Warner Road/IKEA)
• 65 – Mill/Kyrene (north from Warner Road)
• 72 – Rural (north from Ray Road)
• 81 – McClintock (north from Warner Road/ASU Research Park)
The bus routes listed below will depart downtown Tempe every 15 min. or as needed from midnight to 2 a.m.
• 30 – University (east on University Drive to Price Road returning west on Apache Boulevard to Mill Avenue)
• 56 – Priest (south to Elliot Road)

People are encouraged to park at one of the following park-and-ride locations and take the bus for FREE to the festivities.
• Arizona Mills Mall located on Priest Drive on the east side of the mall near entry 1 (Routes 56, 92)
• Tempe Sports Complex located at the northeast corner of Hardy Drive and Warner Road (Route 62)
• Tempe Target located at the northeast corner of McClintock Drive and Baseline Road (Route 81)
• Tempe Library Complex located at the southwest corner of Rural Road and Southern Avenue (Route 72)
If you choose to park at one of the designated park-and-rides listed above, please secure your vehicle and belongings. Property owners will not be held responsible for stolen or damaged vehicles.

STREET CLOSURES
The following street closures will be in effect for the Insight Fiesta Bowl Block Party.
• Mill Avenue between 3rd Street and University Drive will be closed in both directions from 8 p.m. Dec. 30 to 8 a.m. Jan. 1.
• 5th Street between Ash and Myrtle avenues will be closed in both directions from 8 p.m. Dec. 30 to 8 a.m. Jan. 1.
• Mill Avenue between Washington and 3rd streets will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m. Dec. 30 to 8 a.m. Jan. 1.
• Rio Salado Parkway between Ash Avenue and the west entrance for SunCor will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m. Dec. 30 to 8 a.m. Jan. 1.
• Rio Salado Parkway between Hardy Drive and Ash Avenue will be closed in both directions from 6 p.m. Dec. 31 to 8 a.m. Jan. 1.
• Eastbound Rio Salado Parkway between Priest and Hardy drives will be closed from 11 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. Jan. 1.
• University Drive between Mill Avenue and Rural Road will be closed in both directions from 11 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. Jan. 1. Access will be provided for buses within this closure.
• Westbound University Drive between Rural Road and McClintock Drive will be closed from 11 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. Jan. 1. Westbound access will be provided to Athletes Place for local businesses.
• Rural Road between Rio Salado Parkway and University Drive will be closed in both directions from 11 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. Jan. 1.
• Southbound Scottsdale Road between Rio Salado Parkway and Curry Road will be closed from 11 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. Jan. 1. Southbound access provided when possible to Playa del Norte Drive for local businesses.
• The off-ramps for the Loop 202 at Scottsdale Road will be closed from 11 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. Jan. 1.
PARKING
Public parking costs vary from $10 to $15 in the downtown area. People are encouraged to park at one of the following locations:
• ParkiT Lots ($10)
o Brickyard – enter off of Myrtle and University
o Tempe City Hall – enter off of Fifth Street and College
o Hayden Square – enter off of Fifth Street and Ash
o Centerpoint – enter off of University and Ash
• SunCor – enter from the east on Rio Salado Parkway and Rural Road
• ASU Lot 59 – enter from the east on Rio Salado Parkway and Rural Road
• US Airways – enter from the west on Rio Salado Parkway
