The Brownstones at Tempe

In my mid twenties I moved to 83rd Street between Lexington and Park Avenue in New York. This area is home to some old buildings, newer buildings, many retail stores, great restaurants, the Metropolitan Museum, and beautiful brownstones. I used to walk by these brownstones and think to myself that I could never afford to live in one of these homes. That opinion changed when my wife and I went to Tempe earlier this year and saw the Brownstones at Tempe.

Tempe is slowly but surely starting to resemble my old neighborhood in Manhattan. For as long as I have been here, Tempe has had shops, buildings, and great restaurants like my old neighborhood and now you can add brownstones to that list.

The Brownstones at Tempe start in the mid 300’s which in my opinion is a bargain considering one cannot find one in New York for under a million dollars. They have thirteen different floor plans ranging from 976 square feet to 2557 square feet, and have amenities one could never find in New York; these amenities include garages, pool (good luck trying to find a Brownstone in New York with a pool), cabanas, and much more.

In never thought I would find a community in Arizona that would remind me so much of New York, so I am telling all transplanted New Yorkers that if they ever want a New York feel, go visit the Brownstones at Tempe. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
