I attended the most recent WeKnowUrban High Rise and Loft Tour at the request of Will Daly, one of the tour organizers. The plan was to ingratiate myself with the other people on the bus so I could get to know them and let Will know just who was on the tour.
Off to a bad start, the only empty seat I could find was next to Mitch Karren, who is affiliated with WeKnowUrban (remember I was suppossed to meet tour attendees). Mitch is a member of Will’s team who is about to graduate from ASU with a degree in Development of some sort. Mitch, a fountain of information, filled in Will’s blanks regarding the status of developments in the Tempe area.
I did manage to meet several of the tour members though, potential buyers, representatives from other developments, etc. but didn’t chat them up much.
I’ll try to a better job next time, but, as a first timer, I became so enrapt that I forgot why I was there-to get to know you, not to have a throughly enjoyable time seeing loft/high rise developements in Tempe. I’m sure you are all enjoyable as well.
From incredible lakeside, A Mountain to downtown Tempe views, I was captivated. There didn’t seem to be a pattern as each development had unique possibilites. My mental life style kept adapting at each high rise condo community. It was a terrific experience.
