Commissioners OK “Green” Condo Plans

The Scottsdale Planning Commission on Wednesday approved a new condo development to be tucked in behind the Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Hayden Road. Modus Development won unanimous approval from commissioners for a 42-unit condominium complex that meets "green" building codes, including solar power, recycled water and underground parking to alleviate the urban heat island effect.

Home Sales Continue Slump

For a one-hour episode of "The Apprentice" scheduled to air last night, contestants were tasked with devising a marketing plan for Trump Tower II, which like its predecessor, will be 64 stories of gold glass just off the Las Vegas Strip, developers said.
