PHOENIX (AP) -- On Wednesday, the Phoenix City Hall decided
to rescind its previous approval that raised building height
restrictions along Camelback Road. In turn, developer Donald Trump
has thrown in the towel and announced that he will no longer be part
of the high rise hotel condo project near the Esplanade.
However, the Bayrock development
group says it wants to continue with a slimmed down project.
Neighbors who opposed the
development says they're open to negotiations with Bayrock and
Westcor.
The big mall owner wants to place
a new development at the Biltmore Fashion Park.
Opponents of the development
gathered enough signatures to force the question to the ballot.
