The Douglas Scottsdale is a six townhome community on .658 acres at the southeast corner of 69th Street and 1st Avenue in Old Town Scottsdale, next door to The Valley Ho and the new apartment community, The Standard.
This is an interesting little in-fill project in a rapidly growing area of downtown Scottsdale. It’s easy walking distance from art galleries, shops, bars and restaurants in and around Old Town and an easy bike ride to Scottsdale Fashion Square and all that is happening there.
The Douglas Scottsdale was designed by John Douglas of Douglas Architects, and offers floor plans with either 2,205 or 2,390 square feet with two master suites and an office/den or optional guest suite, three baths, private courtyards and private two car garages.
All floor plans are two stories with living, kitchen and office/den on the ground floor and both bedrooms on the second level; have ten foot ceilings, eight foot doors, fully retractable living room doors opening to private courtyards, sky lights, north south exposure and lots of natural light.
Three of the townhomes have private elevators.
Standard finishes include recessed lighting, 20” x 20” tile at kitchen and baths, granite counter tops in kitchens, SubZero and Wolf appliances, gas cooktops, breakfast bar, translucent glass vanity doors at toilets and showers, sophisticated cultured marble at bathrooms (no, not like Grandma's 70's style swirly stuff, this product is sexy and and more.
