Developer releases Farmer Avenue Lofts for sale Winter 2014.

This modern and sophisticated community was built in 2008 (horrible timing in case you hadn't heard) and languished for years until a Canadian group purchased the community with the intent of completing them properly, updating the grounds and putting them up for sale when the time was right.

Well that time has come.

Located from 352 to 398 South Farmer Avenue (literally a 1/4 mile walk from the heart of the Mill Avenue District) Farmer Avenue Lofts includes 18 unique 3-story urban townhomes. The builder claimed that the architecture of the community was inspired by the late architect, Al Beadle, famous for his angular, contemporary designs.

In addition to being super close (but not too close) to Mill Avenue they're also an easy 3 minute walk from Tempe Beach Park, Tempe Town Lake, about a mile from ASU football and basket ball, about a mile from Grady Gammage, 4-5 minute walk to light rail and so much more.

Oh, and maybe best of allĂ– a new Yard and Culinary Dropout are opening at the end of the street!

These homes are huge by downtown Tempe standards with over 2500 square feet. Floor plans range from two bedroom + den or three bedroom floor plans most with 3.5 bathrooms. All have ground floor entrances, 2-car garages and very open living spaces.

Want live/work?

Farmer has six townhomes that are true live/work meaning the owner can run a small business with street access and signage. The Valley doesn't have many communities offering live/work and most of them aren't great because there is little to no pedestrian or automobile traffic. In the case of Farmer Avenue Lofts there is decent foot traffic and we expect it to get a lot better as downtown Tempe continues to explode with growth.

The live-work residences are pushed out to the sidewalk to encourage pedestrian interest and to provide separate, direct street access. These are ideal for a real estate or insurance office, an intimate art gallery or light retail or ???

Prices were originally advertised ranging from $290/sf to $315/sf or $745,300 to $768,600. To see current prices click on the "For Sale" button up on the right.

Awe, no properties match that criteria. Make some changes and try again!
